From the Bride... My favorite moment of the day (besides becoming husband and wife) was when my groom made his entrance on a vintage bike. He was reluctant to do it at first, but he did it! And everyone loved it. Pretty much everything about our day was DIY. In regards to my dress, I was pretty set as to the style that I wanted, which is lace. The first time I came across the Loren Dress, I knew immediately that it is the one. I had a look at many other designs for about a month or two, nothing really strikes me and finally decided on this one. It is simple yet intricate, and it represents who I am. So we booked our flights from Sydney to Gold Coast for the fitting and locked it in.

Some advice for other couples planning a wedding - I do not recommend DIY weddings unless you are an experienced, organized and hands on person. It is very tiring, before and during the wedding day. Leave it to the professionals if you can, unless it is something that you enjoy. To me, it is worth it and very satisfying in the end, receiving compliments from family and friends.

Plan way ahead, so you don't stress yourself out too much. There will always be hiccups along the way, so planning ahead leaves you ample time to resolve any issues down the track.
